The Faith

Y la entrada es para otra banda de Dischord Records, esta ves The Faith, aparecen en Washintong DC en el otoño de 1981, formada por Alec Mackaye (hermano de Ian Mackaye) que en ese momento habia terminado con su banda The Untouchables, y con gente de SOA.
Su sonido es semejante a las bandas de su localidad: hardcore punk con harto sentimiento e introspectivo, en resumen precario post hardcore.
Despues de lanzar su demo, mediante Dischord sale a luz un split con La banda Void, y para 1983 aparece un el EP Subject to change.
Tras esto la banda se separa, y tres de sus miembros se unen a Ian Mackaye para formar Embrace, y el guitarrista se integra a Rites of spring.
Por otro lado Alec se dedica a cantar en Ignition.
