Big Black fue una banda norteamericana de Chicago, existio entre 1982 y 1987, creadores de un estilo que esta entre en punk, el primitivo post hardcore, e incluso el noise rock, siendo este sonido tan particular de la banda inspiracion pra muchas bandas de la vertiente post hardcore e incluso con los industriales.
