Moneen

Banda Emo, Indie de toronto canada. Se formaron a finales de los 90's, epoca donde el emo cobraba un auge comercial del cual se basaron para definir su estilo y lograr el reconocimiento como una de las mejores bandas Post-emo de la ultima decada. En sus comienzos su sonido emulaba los clasicos cliches musicales del genero de los cuales se puede apreciar los coritos y armonia vocal al estilo The Get Up Kids, acordes y riffs al estilo Jazz June y American Football, ademas agregaron pasajes sonoros tipico del Math Rock y el Post Rock de la epoca, del cual sale una musica de lo mas interesante e innovador, despues de firmar para Vagrant Records sacan "Are We Really Happy with Who We are Right Now?", demas melodico y con un estilo mas cerca al indie comercial sin perder la escencia de su sonido, despues llegaron a codearse con bandas Post Hardcore como Alexisonfire del cual sacan un split muy particular que consiste en covers de las 2 bandas, cada una con una version diferente de la otra, pues despues de esto ya moneen se tiro para el Post Hardcore con "The Red Tree".
