Ahead to the sea es una banda Alemana de Folk punk - Irish Punk, formada en el 2004, como proyecto de nueva banda de Jochen K, que habia logrado fama gracias a su anterior banda Across The Border.
Basicamente esta banda continua la misma linea de Across The Border, metizaje musical que cuenta con Folklore de diversas regiones de europa, Reggae, y Punk, todo acompañado por letras politicas, sociales y patrioticas.
