Circle Takes The Square

Circle Takes The Square es una banda de corte Screamo / Post Hardcore de Estados Unidos. Actualmente considerados como una de las mejores bandas dentro del circulo Screamo mundial, sin duda "As The Roots Undo" del 2004 es un disco clasico. Tras este, la banda entro en una etapa poco activa, con contados conciertos, hasta que anunciaron un nuevo disco que se encuentra en trabajo para Noviembre de este año, hasta entonces han lanzado un EP digital con 4 canciones como adelanto bajo el nombre de "Decompositions Volume I, Chapter 1 Rites Of Initiation" un trabajo que bajo mi humilde perspectiva contiene musica mas densa que en sus anteriores trabajos, pero aun asi mantiene la calidad de la banda.

Nekromantix

Nekromantix es de lejos una de las mejores y mas conocidas bandas de Psychobilly, fue una de las primeras bandas de este estilo que escuche y me enganche harto tiempo con ellos.
La banda se fundo en 1989 en Dinamarca (en una epoca en que Inglaterra era la cuna de las mejores bandas Psycho) , y siempre estuvo liderada por Kim Nekroman.
Desde su primer disco Hellbound propusieron un sonido diferente, veloz y brutal en algunas canciones manteniendo el estilo psycho y el poderoso sonido el contrabajo. Son mundialmente conocidos por el contrabajo en forma de ataud que utiliza Kim Nekroman. Tambien tiene canciones estilo balada que te pueden enganchar facilemnte como "Last Night I Saved An angel" , "Subculturar Girl" , "Nekrofelia", "Love at the first bite", etc. Todas sus canciones estan inspiradas en peliculas de Serie B, peliculas de terror y ciencia ficcion, incluso el nombre de la banda es el mismo que una famosa pelicula de terror.
En fin una banda que todo buen fanatico del Psychobilly debe conocer.
