Banda de Post Hardcore y Post Rock de Vienna, Austria. El sonido de esta banda es muy dificil de encasillar, mas bien engloba varios generos entremezclados de una manera discontinua, algo poco comun en generos experimentales. El caos de su sonido lleva una apariencia de Post Rock tenso que acompañando de un fondo de gritos anuncia la llegada de golpeadas guitarras opresivas, aunque a veces nunca llegan y termina en un paciente final alternativo o en guitarras Emo-Indie al compás de una celebre melodia. Los sonidos mas notables van desde el Post Hardcore, estilo "Hopesfall" y el Screamo como "Envy". La manera de asociar varios generos en uno solo da como resultado un sonido innovador que necesita ser explotado.

Envy

Envy es una de las mejores y mas conocidas bandas de Screamo a nivel mundial. Aparecieron formalmente en 1992 en Japon, pero no fue hasta 1996 cuando lanzaron su primer disco oficial, para despues colaborar en dos splits (con Sixpence y Endeavor), durante esta, su primera etapa, el sonido es mas cercano al Hardcore Punk experimental lleno de gritos y un ritmo caotico.
Posteriormente lanzaron trabajos mas concisos, con un sonido que los identificaria personalmente, la caracteristica al parecer mas resaltante seria la forma tan peculiar que tienen en los gritos.
Personalmente en su epoca meramente Screamo me enacanta el disco "All The Footprints You've Ever Left And The Fear Expecting Ahead", sus siguienes trabajos tambien cuentan con una buena calidad, que ha hecho de Envy una banda conocida en Oriente y Occidente. A partir de "Insomniac Doze", Envy experimenta aun mas con el Post Rock, generando una personalidad unica.
